I have been a customer of MotivWerks for many years. Prior to having my cars serviced there, I had been trying various other repair services in the Chambersburg PA area. I did not like any of them because they would just give me piecemeal service. Certain things would be fixed and then I would have to go back because something was missed and had to be fixed in short order. With MotivWerks it’s different. They always do a thorough check on your vehicle and then discuss their findings with the customer. You can then decide how to proceed. This way you minimize the chances for breakdowns and other nasty surprises. Justin Brubaker and his crew are truly providing honest and competent service. I drive European and Japanese imports and my experience with MotivWerks has been topnotch. Justin performed an engine swap on my 2nd gen. VW Golf and most recently serviced my A/C system converting it to R134a refrigerant with a new compressor and dryer. MotivWerks may not be the cheapest shop around but then again, you really get what you pay for. MotivWerks provides me with peace of mind and that is worth it to me.

I went to Justin several years ago on the recommendation of a neighbor. For two years I’d paid about $2,000 at various local shops, recommended to me by friends, to find an answer as to why my car was repeatedly overheating. Justin said the switch wasn’t turning my fan on. He fixed it at minimal cost by wiring a switch on my dash that I could flip to turn on my fan. Problem solved. He thought outside of the box to help me. He’s been a gentleman and a lifesaver for me many times since then. He’s honest and efficient and I’d never take my car anywhere else.
